Q
I've been sent an email instructing me to pay my outstanding
invoices. I thought I signed up for a free trial?
A
You're
quite right. The week's trial is free and comes with no obligation
to continue. Our system creates an invoice automatically when you
register for the free trial. This helps us to speed up the
activation of your account if you subscribe.
However, you only need to pay if you intend to continue to use the
site.

Q
Can I change my username, password and email address?
A
Yes.
You can do this by logging in to the
Client Panel and
clicking on 'edit
member information'.
Once you've made your changes remember to click on
'save'.
It's a good idea to have a short username and password and keep to
lowercase letters. This helps reduce login
problems.

Q
Why has the subscription increased from £10 per annum to £30 per
annum?
A
We
increased the teacher sub for two reasons: i. to cover the site's
development costs and ii. to include 30 student
logins.

Some of the pages on the site seem to have disappeared - what's

A Over
the last 6 weeks, Mediaedu has been completely restructured so
almost all of the site's pages now have different URLs or web

to find what you're looking for.
If you continue to have problems, please
contact
us and
we'll investigate.

Q
I have to log in every time I click on a new page. Is this
normal?
A
No. You
will be asked to log in with your username and password the first
time you open your browser and click on a page on Mediaedu.co.uk If
you continue to see the login screen your browser is probably not
set up to accept cookies.
A cookie is a small file which is saved into your browser's cache
(memory). In our case, we save a cookie containing your login
information.
Google has a useful instruction page on how to check that you have
enabled cookies on your computer. Here’s a link:

We
are also aware that clients who use
AOL as
their ISP (Internet Service Provider) often have problems with
online security systems.
This is because
AOL use
a dynamic IP address which changes rapidly during standard usage.
This type of IP address is perceived as multiple login attempts
with the same username and password and as such tends to cause an
account lockdown.
We can reactivate your account but the problem is likely to recur.
if you are unable to change your ISP, we will provide a full
refund.
If
you continue to have problems, please
let us
know and
we'll investigate.

Q
I have been trying to use Mediaedu's video footage and it takes
ages to view it. Am I doing something wrong?
A
No. We're
learning how to distribute video on the site so that it can be used
easily. Please be assured that we are working on this issue now and
expect to have a solution very soon.
